Glacier Tours

Glacier Walk

Take a walk on the glacier snow and ice atop Whistler Mountain. Outfitted with boots, crampons and an ice axe you will learn how to walk using glacier equipment and take a tour around Whistler Glacier.

Learn about the formation of glaciers and crevasses and have a chance to play on the ice and snow. This tour is great for people of all ages, abilities, families with children 8 years and up, and those groups with a tight schedule. No experience is necessary. Involves uphill walking for approximately 25 minutes. Lift ticket is not included.

Glacier Hike

One of the most popular tours! Outfitted with boots, crampons, ice axe, harness and rope, your guide will lead you onto the glacier snow and ice atop Whistler Mountain. You will be educated on glaciology and use of equipment in order to ascend the glacier like a mountaineer. Once at the top, enjoy stunning alpine vistas before descending.

No experience necessary. Involves uphill walking for approximately 45 minutes. This tour is suitable for people of most ages and abilities, families with children 12 years and up.
