Celebration 2010™

CELEBRATE FROM FEBRUARY 1 - 29, 2008

Experience Whistler's cultural core in celebration of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. A dynamic month of theatre, music, snow sculpting, film screenings and literary soirees - under the sun and under the stars.

CELEBRATION 2010™

Since 2003, the Whistler Arts Council has worked with several local and regional arts groups and individual performers/artists representing theatre, dance, music, film, heritage, literary and visual arts to develop programming throughout the month of February in support of the 2010 Winter Olympic & Paralympic Games. Some of the objectives are to:

  • Celebrate local culture and heritage in the Sea to Sky Corridor
  • Showcase regional and national talent
  • Build interest and participation for 2010

Whistler CELEBRATION 2010™ features more than 17 events, and 150 artists and performers throughout the month of February.
