Elvis Costello and the Imposters to headline Whistler Music Festival
The inaugural Whistler Music Festival will take place July 19-20, 2008 featuring Elvis Costello and the Imposters, The Roots, Broken Social Scene, Robert Randolph and The Family Band, Medeski Martin & Wood, Bedouin Soundclash and Serena Ryder. [more]

Although April marked the end of the 2007/08 winter season, the Marketing Services team has been in full summer mode, with the creative for the upcoming summer campaign being developed and the website being refreshed to generate interest and sales for summer 2008. [more]
Partnerships and Promotions Update
Tourism Whistler promotions during the month of May include the ActNow BC Healthy Living Pledge, the Catch the Epic Ride, and KHS Bike. [more]
Whistler continues to generate strong editorial coverage from various media channels around the world, including MTV Canada, Travel Channel, Luxury Travel, National Geographic Adventure, Westworld, Fifty-Five Plus magazine and the Shanghai Morning Post. [more]
The winter 2007/08 season concluded with room nights basically on par with last winter (one of our strongest winters on record). [more]

Over the past few years, the Visitor Services department has been working with Legacies Now, Tourism Vancouver, Tourism BC, and a number of other industry partners to form a partnership to enhance accessible tourism in the province. [more]
